Sky Class had to opportunity to meet the Danish gymnasts on Thursday, February 28th. Instead of going to Art and PE that afternoon the kids went to the gym to participate in a workshop led by the gymnasts. Mountain class also attended the workshop with us. The kids had to run, jump, collaborate and more during the hour and a half long workshop. Many kids left the workshop inspired to attend Friday night's performance.
A few Sky class students were able to take advantage of the opportunity to host members of the National Danish Gymnastics Performance team. Those children spoke very positively of the experience and talked about their homestay guests with all of Sky Class.
