One of our favorite traditions in the lower school is Math Morning. Each child has the opportunity to participate in 3 small group, multi-age math activities led by a CFS staff member. The excitement builds as students hear about the plethora of offerings and determine which 3 lessons they most want to participate in. This year's offerings included Create Your Own Code, Guess Who (with numbers), Tangrams, Zentangle, Dominos, Dash & Dot, How Big is a Whale? and more.

Each session lasts 40 minutes and provides students with a chance to get to know different students and teachers. Students also love reporting back to their friends in Sky Class after each session. We loved hearing them trade stories over lunch and recommend different math activities to their friends for next year. Math Morning was definitely a special part of our shortened Thanksgiving week.
